Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè (/ˈfɘlë/ /ɪˈʃɘrë/ [bad; evil] [cavity; armpit]) is a temperate Large Town located in the Jajëhifitë Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè was founded by Glêd Trg̈mênm, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 19°C (66°F). Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè receives an average of 248 cm/y (97 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè covers an area of nearly 7 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2008 m (6587 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè was founded durring the early 12th century in summer of the year 1047, by Glêd Trg̈mênm. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Glêd Trg̈mênm.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow flagstone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The town's timber-based walls are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.
Right off the bat Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The new wealth has created some worrying attitudes in many passers by, such that it’s clear new laws have recently been enacted and enforced with such extreme scrutiny the locals seem to be going about their day as if by clockwork.
Civic Infrastructure
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè's parks.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has a Department of Firefighters, which is responsible for organizing fire fighting efforts during a fire and enforcing local ordinances relating to fire safety.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Large Town. Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè's natural decorations nor waterways.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..

The Udaeus near Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè are known to be more aggressive than normal.
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves long periods of drunkenness to channel Enchantment energies of tier 3 via throat chanting.

History
Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè is still bloodied by a recent violent conflict. A crushing bandit raid, a lost siege, getting caught at the periphery of a major battle, or some other calamity has inflicted severe damage on the place. Some communities may suffer a longer-term version of this, their youths lost in a grinding, endless battle against some perpetual threat.
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century a local hero by the name of slew a monster which had been terrorizing the streets of Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè. One of Qimt-îthêrë Dêtîkè's festivals remembers the hero.
